  • OffiSync unites Google Docs and Microsoft Office

    From the moment of the appearance in 2006, tools Google Docs has acquired massive new possibilities, function of operation without network connect, and has involved many users. Nevertheless, the majority of them work with this tools only from time to time, preferring Microsoft software packages. The main problem in this case consists not in weak security of cloudy tools, and in absence of system of synchronisation between Google Docs and Microsoft Office.


    OffiSync offers convenient solution of this problem. At present the program is in a stage of private beta testing, but each interested person can query on the prompt for involvement in the test. While the product supports Word documents, PowerPoint, Excel and Windows-version Office 2003 and 2007.

    After installation OffiSync allows, using the dialog box of programs Office, to open the documents saved in storage Google Docs. Moreover, the user can organise the on-line folders, transfer files from one place to another etc. At editing of these files by MS Office resources, there is a synchronisation of data on the PC and in the Network in real time. Thus, the user can have access to various electronic documents through any computer connected to the Internet, and edit them by means of MS Office components.

    One more interesting feature OffiSync – usage of retrieval scroll box Google, at documents retrieval Google Docs by MS Office resources. Also the given development supports teamwork function over projects.

    The release of final version OffiSync is expected within 6-9 months. For private persons the program will be free, and developers plan to receive the main income from corporate users.
